Benefits of our procedures

  • We carry out a detailed computer-simulated surgery approx. one week prior to the actual surgery. We do this to achieve the best FUNCTIONAL and AESTHETIC results with the least amount of hassle. This is followed by the production of a 3D-printed splint to allow precise implementation
  • Dysgnathia surgery is generally possible as of the age of 13 (after the 12-year molars have emerged)
  • We do NOT require brace brackets for Invisalign® or Lingual Technique surgeries. Instead, we use TADs
  • The operation is generally performed using a “trigger-free” TIVA with a low-impact, minimally invasive surgical technique, reducing the risk of permanent damage to the sensory nerve or hematomas
  • Generally speaking, this minimally invasive surgery does NOT require prior removal of wisdom teeth or other healthy teeth
  • Abdominal ultrasounds, blood products and bladder catheters are generally not required
  • Wiring is NOT used - you can open your mouth, brush your teeth and eat soft foods at any point
  • No postoperative splints/aligners
  • No external scars
  • Hilotherm cooling units are used to reduce swelling
  • A maximum of 3 days in inpatient stay
  • Patients with statutory health insurance stay in a twin room. Private patients are accommodated in an en-suite room, with the option to include relatives.
  • Depending on the clinic, sick leave (depending on the occupational strain/requirement) is approx. 1-3 weeks
